DIY Microbead Nails

1. Scotch tape 2. OPI My Pointe Exactly
3. Sally Hansen Diamond Strength 110 Flawless
4. Recollections Microbead in Copper

Despite looking complicated, these nails are super easy to do-but they do require lots of patience because it will take you a while to finish them. The key to getting this look right is to layer and layer on the nail polish so that the beads can sink into its spot!

TOOLS:
- Scotch tape to place the beads onto your nail. I like to wrap the tape around my forefinger, then dab the tape on my arms until the adhesive is barely there-making it easy to transfer the beads onto your nails
- Opaque nail polish. Go with a colour you can layer on many times so that you can get enough thickness to press the beads into its place
- Clear top coat. This is a must have item! You will need to top coat at least 3 times
- Microbeads (I got mine from Michael's)

STEPS:
1. Layer on your nail polish about 4 times. While the final layer is still wet, wrap a piece of scotch tape around your forefinger, take a bead and place each bead on your nails one by one. *Remember to press the beads
2. Once the final layer is dry, seal the beads in place by top coating your nails another 3-4 layers

And that's it! Now you just have to play the waiting game.
