Chanel Cream Blush in 67 Chamade Review

This is the prettiest cream blush ever. The colour is a bright poppy red with a satin finish (no shimmers). It's the perfect blush and lip colour for pale to dark skintones. Honestly, nobody can go wrong with this colour. This blush reminds me of a Nars cream blush that is very similar to this colour (a colder toned true red with gold shimmers). Check that out if you're a Nars fan like myself :)

Anyways, I just love love love this blush. I like to use it on my lips as well on top of some lip gloss or lip balm. It's just the perfect natural youthful shade of poppy red that just reminds you of flowers and blue skies if that makes any sense. It's super easy to blend and the packaging is to die for. It's a really tiny blush so it fits perfectly into my makeup pouch. It has a mirror inside as well. I really needed a mirror and so this little blush just met all my needs!

Chanel Inimitable Extreme Mascara Review

This mascara isn't horrible or great. It just falls in the middle and gets forgotten. I used it for a month or two until I got bored of it and switched to a new mascara. I got this one because it's kind of like the Bliss mascara where the formula forms "tubes" around the lashes. This has it's perks and downs. It means you can remove your mascara with just warm water and doesn't smudge at all but offers no volume whatsoever. So if you're going for the natural look and you're already blessed with long voluminous lashes, you will probably like this mascara. I am unfortunately not one of those people, so I expect a lot from my mascaras! And this Chanel mascara didn't give me the volume I was looking for. Now I use this when I travel because it's easy to remove and use it on my bottom lashes since it doesn't smudge.

Best Liquid Eyeliner

If you're looking for a black, waterproof, smudge-proof, easy to use eyeliner, this is it. I recently purchased the Real Lasting Eyeliner by K-Palette (a Japanese company) in the colour Jet Black (I think that's what it was called) and it's the best eyeliner I have found yet. In the 2nd picture above, the top line is the K-Palette and bottom line, Bobbi Brown Long-wear Gel Eyeliner in Black Ink. I've been using Bobbi Brown's Long-wear Gel Eyeliner since the summer, but I wasn't too happy with it because it gave me panda eyes.

As you can see, the K-Palette being waterproof, has more of a shine to it whereas the Bobbi Brown is matte. K-Palette really stays put all day and it comes off easily with makeup remover and warm water. It says it's a 24h tattoo, but it comes off no problem. It's also not blendable. So if you like to smooth out your eyeliner, this is not for you.

I'm convinced there must be something about how my eyes are shaped, but I have the hardest time trying to find an eyeliner that doesn't smudge on me. So far, this is the only eyeliner that doesn't smudge on me. I've tried Urban Decay and Make Up For Ever which I didn't like. I'm not sure where you can buy this in Canada, but if you're ever in Japan or South Korea, pick this one up!
